Our Beliefs

We believe the saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.
We obey the gospel by repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God,  and is profitable...That the man of God may be perfect,  thoroughly furnished unto all good works."  II Timothy 3:16-17

Repentance

We identify with Christ's death through repentance.
Repentance is responding to God's love in surrender, turning towards God and turning away from whatever dishonors Him. It is our personal death to sin.
Just as Christ died for our sins, we too must die to self.
"Unless you repent you will all likewise perish."
Luke 13:3
Acts 17:30

Water Baptism in Jesus Name

We identify with Christ's burial through water baptism. Scripturally,  the name of Jesus was invoked over a person as they were immersed in water. This spiritual burial remits our sins and gives us new identity in Christ!
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38
Mark 16:16

Spirit Baptism

We identify with the resurrection of Christ by receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus rose from the dead, we too are given newness of life when we invite him to dwell in our hearts.
"Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
John 3:5
Mark 1:8

Jesus Christ, Our God

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as Father; through His Son in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit, by emanation. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. He is both God and man.
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism: one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."
Ephesians 4:4-6
I Timothy 3:16
Colossians 2:9
